Happy 13 Months Chance!

This bright blue eyed, handsome, elmo loving, cutie pie is 13 months old today! 

He is growing up too fast!  I think I say this every month. ha!  But it is so true.  He is doing new things everyday!

After bath I do my best to get his hair dryed before he takes off running.  He has the longest, finest, THICK hair.  We are getting another hair cut this weekend.  He will watch me brush his hair and then he wants to do it himself.  He is pretty good at it I must say. 

Chance you definately are getting quite the personality.  You tell us how you feel!  You will throw yourself on the floor (its pretty funny at times because you will put your hands behind you and let yourself fall back gently) and throw a huge fit if you dont get your way.  For example, take the cell phone away from you (if we go to grab it you throw it as hard as you can), the remote control, the tooth brush, change your diaper (you hate this!  especially if you are dirty dirty), put socks and or shoes on you.  Basically you would rather run wild and free with no rules.  haha.  But then you have your curious and sweet loving side that melts mommy's heart. 

you point ALL THE TIME saying "dis dis"  You will point at Stella and I know you are saying dog but its still not real clear yet. You LOVE reading books now (well mommy reads and you point or turn the pages)  But it is so sweet because you will go get a book and bring it to me.  Love this time.  (you also like Nana to read to you when at her house)
When you are taking your bath we read the same book every time.  I will say "where is the moo cow" and you will go straight to your bath book open it up right to the cow.  You are so smart. 
Side Note:  Mommy was watching Oprah the other day and Jennifer Hudson was on there talking about her son being busy busy and Oprah said "that's ok girl...that's a sign of intelligence"  I knew were smart - you are busy busy too.
You are eating better these days.  You are now eating with a little fork.  You think you are so big and will sit in your highchair longer periods because of this fork.

and oranges, strawberries and chicken nuggets!  One thing we are working on is getting you to drink out of a juice cup more than once or twice a day.  Mommy has spent lots of $$ on different kinds of juice cups to get you to like one.  You will drink out of it and then never think of it again, that or you will shake it up or turn it upside down.  You still have a few bottles here and there but you really dont have a strong attachment to the bottle so I could probably take it away from you now and you wouldnt care...but that's how you are getting your fluids - well and through all the oranges you eat! ha!  You also really like your pacifier.  But I could probably take that away to and you wouldnt miss it but it saves us a little at night when you wake up and sometimes go back to sleep by putting it in your mouth.  :)

Chance you can blow kisses and give the best hugs!  You are an awesome dancer too.  You love, love love music.  You love going on runs and walks with mommy in the BOB stroller.  You are wearing 12-18 month old clothes, size 3 diapers and size 5 shoe (when you wear them). 

You truly are the light in your daddy's and mommy's eyes. One of mommy's favorite times is when you snuggle up on me and we rock and sing.  Love those moments and will cherish them forever.
