16 Months Old

Yesterday Chance turned 16 months old!
Here is what our little guy is up to these days:
You are sleeping better (dont want to jinx this or anything)  You still wake up once at night but then I am waking you up in the morning around 7:15.  Weekends are always different depending on what we are doing.  Let's just say we have our good days....and then we have our bad ones... :)  Maybe one day! (Finger's crossed)
You have such a personality.  You make us laugh ALL THE TIME.  However, you have started throwing fits, FULL OUT on the floor fits.  Mainly when we dont go outside, or come inside, or when you see the lawn mower and we dont take you for a ride or let you play on it

OR we dont let you sit in your Daddy's truck and pretend drive.  But when we do let you pretend drive you throw a fit when we take you out.

 We try all we can to distract you or take you to do something else but boy oh boy do you remember everything and nothing we do fools you.  :)  Here are a couple of pics I took with my iphone in the moment of a FIT

Chance you have so much energy.  I wish I had half the energy you do.  We play the moment you wake up until the moment you fall asleep.  However, today at Nana's you took a 3 hr nap!  You still take 2 naps during the day.  :)  Sometimes you will take a nap when I get home from work and we nap together...

Mommy will sleep with you or sometimes she watches shows she has taped on DVR.  :)
You still are drinking your milk from a bottle and like your pacifier...My plan is to get you off this summer when I am home with you all day!  Cannot wait...12 days...
You are saying a few more words.  You can say "pickle" and "cookie" (Thanks to your Daddy who makes cookies every night almost!)  You can point to your belly button and eyes, nose and ears.  You can give us "knuckles" and high fives!  The knuckles is a boy thing...but I think it is so cute when you make a lil fist.  I can say "Give me high five Chance" and you do...and then I will say "cut the pickle" and you put your lil forefingers together for me to cut your pickle...its so cute and then I will tickle you.  You are such a smart lil boy!

You are still in 12-18 month clothes...but 24 month pajamas.  You still wear a size 4 diaper and I think you weigh 23 lbs still.  We weigh everyday...well you watch your mommy weigh (mommy's been trying to lose weight after having you and she has lost all the baby weight plus 20 lbs)  But then you will get on the scale and you weigh.  :) 

You like pizza.  We were eating at CiCi's one night and your aunt Robin gave you a whole piece!

Brushing your teeth is a chore these days...you want to do it on your own, but we really need to get them clean not just suck the toothpaste off! ha!

You hide behind the curtains and play peekaboo!

I love you sweet boy so very much.  More and more everyday!  Happy 16 months!
