Chance's food addiction

We go through boxes of these at our house, he loves him some pancake minis. I ask him "how many do you want" and He will tell me he wants "8,9,10" of them.

Ft. Worth Zoo

We took Chance to the Ft. Worth Zoo this last weekend when we were visiting his Granny.

I could watch these monkey's all day.  They were quite entertaining.

I love giraffes so much.  My. Favorite. Animal. Ever.

We had a really fun time.

Cruise 2012 Part Two

Cozumel was our favorite stop.  We really enjoyed being there so much.

 Family photo in Cozumel.

This little boy LOVED every single bit of the beach.  He is not afraid of the water or waves like he was last summer.  He fell asleep on both bus rides back to the ship and took really good naps every day.  He really liked not having to ride in a car seat. ha!

Last dinner on the ship.  The food was so good.  I am pretty sure we all gained 10 lbs. :(

We took pictures on the back of the ship after dinner.  It is really pretty.  The water is so blue.

 My parents are so cute!!
Just hanging out, relaxing.  He is a funny little boy.

I think Dale liked the guitar we bought Chance in Mexico more than Chance did.  ha!

This last picture sums up how the boys act....
Everyone had the best time.  We all lost money in the casino (I lost $40 or so dollars all on the quarter machine - I was somewhat of a lurker waiting for the quarters to drop after people walked away), laid by the pool, watched an amazing magic show (they flew the guys in from Vegas), laughed at the comedy show, got a 50 min. hot stone massage with my sister, Chance and Doug played putt putt golf, watched a lot of amazing singers and dancers and ate a ton of amazing food.  I have only two complaints...I should have brought my hair dryer (it was a nightmare using the one in our bathroom every night) and our room in the evenings was really warm compared to the rest of the ship.
Amazing Vacation.  Back to the real world of laundry, cooking and POTTY TRAINING...Let's just say the potty training fell off the back of the ship and we are starting fresh today.
Happy Monday!

Cruise 2012 Part One

We just got back from the most amazing family vacation.  My wonderful parents took us on a 5 day cruise.  We are so very grateful for this mom and dad and thank you so much.  We had the best time.  We left last Monday and were back in Galveston yesterday.  We were sad to see the vacation end.  We made two stops on the trip, Progresso and Cozumel.  Progresso was a bit, um - unsettling.  Really puts our life in perspective and makes you realize how fortunate we are.  My dad loved "bargaining" with the people at the local shops.  He thinks he got some really good buys. ha!  We walked to the local public beach until our bus was leaving to go the private beach/resort.  Boy am I glad we did the private beach excursion.  The resort and pools were beautiful...the beach...like Galveston, not so pretty.  On the other hand...Cozumel...GORGEOUS...but so hot and humid.  We also went on a beach excursion where we swam in the very clear waters, laid by the beach, paddle boated, jumped on the water trampoline, and Doug and I played a water balloon toss and WON!!  :)  We won two Playa Mia t-shirts and you would have thought we were playing for $1,000.  Our competitive side really showed. ha!  (the balloon toss was throwing the big water balloon in various ways to the other person and if the balloon burst or dropped you were out.)
Monday morning about to head to Galveston to board the "big boat"

 Love my mom and sister!
Chance was really good on the trip and loved it all.  We had a few "meltdowns and time-outs" but all in all for a 2 year old he did really well.  He and I literally ate chocolate covered strawberries everyday after he took a nap.  He would wake up talking about them.  :)  Then we would dance during the evenings.  We watched a lot of karoke.  One night my dad got up and sang a song to my mom.  We laughed until our stomachs hurt.  He sang "you think my tractor's sexy".  My dad cannot sing.  CANNOT SING AT ALL...but we were all very proud of him.  He is a hoot!  My mom was so red but I think she secretly loved it.  :)  Chance went out on the dance floor when he was singing to help his Poppa out.

Best Friends...that get in trouble ALOT

He loves to dance and entertain.
 First stop...Progresso.

Chance loved rolling in the sand

 4th of July dinner
Chance would take a normal picture with Kyle but for me he got on the ground like a dog and said cheese so this is what our picture looks like. ha!

We all thought it would be funny to buy flag tshirts and take a picture.  These are our $3.88 tshirts from walmart that we put on after dinner took a picture and changed back into what we were wearing or sweats because in the shows on the ship are so cold!!

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!

Next stop...Cozumel...to be continued...
