Happy Thanksgiving

We have been traveling since Tuesday. We are driving right now to my grandpas to spend Thanksgiving with my family. Traveling with a 22 month old and a very high maintenance dog is extremely stressful. Yet I am very grateful this year for God's blessings!

Getting in car to head out to west Texas.

Landa Park

We had a really good weekend.  I am super sad to say that football is over but it sure is nice having my husband home earlier.  We took Chance over to a near by park called Landa Park this weekend.  We rode a little train around the park, fed the ducks and played on the playground.  Afterwards we went to one of our favorite places to eat, Jason's Deli.  While we were sitting at the table an older man approached our table with a napkin in his hand asking my husband if he was Tony Parker for the Spurs! ha!  It was a sweet compliment but Doug does not make the $$ like Tony Parker.  The napkin he was carrying was for an autograph! We had a good laugh on the ride home about it.
 On the train ride...

Today I got my Christmas present...4 new tires on my Murano.  Merry Christmas to me...But I must say it rides so much better and Doug washed it really good and I cleaned out the inside so I would say its basically new all over again. :)  I am so ready for the holidays!
Sweet boy eating the blueberry muffins I made especially for him this morning and some grapes.

Beautiful Day

Doug got up and made us pancakes! Then we headed out for a bike ride and stopped by the football field to let Chance run around and play.

What a beautiful morning!

My lil Cowboy

I have been trying to do a blog from my phone for two days now and it will not post, so I finally got a free minute to do a little post from the computer.

Happy Halloween from my little cowboy (I know this is 4 days late...better late than ever, right?)
I spent 15 minutes of serious convincing to get Chance to even put the costume on.  He wouldnt wear jeans or boots so we settled with athletic shorts and his crocs!  What cowboy doesnt like to wear crocs from time to time... ha!
I think he is the cutest cowboy ever!

We went to our church on Halloween.  They had lots of fun games going on and pony rides, hay rides, bounce houses, cotton candy and hot dogs.  Chance of course LOVED the horses!

My dad said "we have to get a horse and land, soon"  Too funny!  Chance rides horses like he is a pro at it!  So cute!
Chance and Doug also went fishing for some treats!
Afterwards we came home and sat outside and passed out candy and took Chance over to our neighbors to trick or treat.  (We saw some interesting costumes....and people - one reason I dont like Halloween)
After the candy was gone, Chance had fun with the bowl.
 Love my little cowboy...
 (Check out my shoes...they glow!)
I had bought stuff to make smores and so we did that too!  It was a fun Halloween with my family.
