Christmas 2014

Today Santa came to visit our house since we travel during the holidays.
I love all their Christmas jammies.

Chance and Brooks had a great Christmas - they still have two more stops next week.  :)  Brooks loves his phone Santa brought him.
Brooks needs a major haircut and poor baby has to be cutting another tooth with all that drool.

Thanksgiving 2014

This picture makes me laugh out loud.  Knox (my sister's little boy who is 12 days younger than Brooks) is trying to sneak a piece of pumpkin pie.  It doesn't take long for Brooks to catch on.  They both love food.  I just grabbed my camera fast and got some funny pics.
This was his second attempt at getting some.

Both are running away.  I never stopped them. haha
I really trained Chance when he was younger to take pictures.  He is such a ham.
But this little one I have to run and chase and be super, ridiculous silly to get a picture.
These two are my whole world

Nana and her 3 boys that adore her

Here is a picture with just Chance and Santa.  The other picture with all 3 boys will have to be uploaded later

Pumpkin Patch 2014

This was the ONLY picture I got of both of them looking at me.

Brooks tried to do this to every.single.pumpkin.  He is a mess. :)

So proud of my precious 4 year old.  Love him to pieces.
This picture pretty much sums up our trip to the pumpkin patch.  Brooks was not interested in pictures but wanted to run wild looking at the pumpkins.  Might be my Christmas card, ha.

 He is a big pointer

Brooks is 14 months old

I havent found much time to blog lately but wanted to post a few pictures I have taken of the boys.  Brooks will be 15 months old before I know it.  He is my precious, blue eyed, busy little boy.

These two pictures were taken this morning and I couldnt get a picture where they both were looking and happy.  Brooks after threw himself on the floor crying.  He was not ready to go to daycare.  But arent they so cute dressed alike!?

Family Pictures/Adjusting to the New Move

At the end of June we had Brooks' 1 year pics taken and a few family photos as well.  Here were some of my favorites:

June was a big month for big decisions.  With a lot of prayer we felt God was leading us back to the Austin area where Doug is the new head baseball coach for the Hendrickson Hawks.  I also got a job at the same high school teaching Algebra I.  The hardest part of all of this is my babies will not be with their Nana (my mom) anymore.  My parents also moved... We are now 3 hours from my parents and that has been a huge adjustment and will be a bigger one when school starts as both of my boys will be staying with someone other than their grandma. (Tears flow down my face just typing this)  Chance is going to attend a pre-k program through the district we are working for.  He will be fine.  He loves school.  Its my little Brooksie I worry about but I have to trust that God will watch over him and give me peace at the same time.  With all this said...we are getting settled in our new little home.  It's small, but cozy.  I actually really love it.  We have cows that come up in the morning and Chance loves that and there is a huge piece of land with a playground and open field across from us that Chance and Doug go and play baseball. There are other kids in the area coming to play now.  Chance is only 4 but he thinks he is recreating his own "Sandlot" experience.  :) Kids are knocking at the door for him to come play...and bring all of his baseball equipment. ha!  He loves it.  Loves it.
The boys and I have been going to different splash pads in the Austin area.  One perk of living in a big city.  Lots to do... I am soaking up as much time with them before I start back to work.  Doug already has been going to work.  2 a days started this week for football.  I am back to being a single parent...I love football and I hate it at the same time.  Its definatlely a love/hate relationship - football season that is, well and baseball ha!  I wouldnt trade it for the world though.  I love being a coaches wife.  :) and I love being a mommy to these two little boys!
