1st t-ball game

This weekend was Chance's first t ball game.  He was so excited he laid out his clothes the night before and couldnt wait for the big game.  He kept telling everyone "I am going to hit that ball over the fence"  He had a hard time understanding why when he tagged a guy out before he got to 1st base why they left him in...rules in t ball arent the rules the high school boys follow and Chance knows all the rules!! ha!  He did so good and he would slide into every base.

Brooks is 8 months old! (plus 10 days)

I have tried all week to post pics of Brooks.  I cant believe he is 8 months old already.  He has been quite the sick little boy the past 3 months.  January - flu and ear infection.  Then Chance got a cough a month later I took Chance in for being sick and to get Brooks his booster shot and he had another ear infection.  He doesnt run fever with these ear infections and I knew he hadnt been sleeping and fussy but I thought it was from his teeth.  Boy was I wrong.  The dr heard wheezing in his lungs so we had to start breathing treatments AGAIN.  We started another antibiotic and after 5 days his breathing was worse and he was still so fussy.  Back to the dr we went and his oxygen levels were low so we increased the breathing treatments.  We finished the antibiotics and had a check up a week later and I thought we were going in for good news.  His breathing was better and no wheezing but his ear infection was back.  So this poor baby has been through 3 rounds of antibiotics in 3 months.  During all this he started crawling (7 1/2 months old) and we have started this week eating a few finger foods.  During this time he lost some weight too.  First time I ever saw the scale go down since he was born, ha!  He still isnt sleeping through the night.  With me having to wake him up to do breathing treatments every 4 hours and all the sickness he cant seem to find his perfect sleep pattern.  I have faith it will happen, ha!  Neither of my boys like sleep much.

two teeth finally came through at 7 months

He is pulling up on everything
My two precious boys!  I dont know what my life would be like without them.  I am so glad I am their mommy.

We have a t ball player!

Chance recently started playing t ball.  Not sure where the time has gone, he was once my sweet little baby and now he is my sweet, growing too fast little boy who tells me EVERYDAY "momma I am getting so big"  Yes, yes you are....
He is quite the little ball player.  He really loves it.  Why would we think he wouldnt?  There are a few others out there that keep us entertained but Chance is all about doing it right.  ha!  He has watched the big kids so much he knows how to really play and we are so proud of him.  He seriously would play all day if we let him.  They havent had a game yet, those will be here soon enough.  Here are a few pics from his practices.

Here he is on 3rd base smiling and saying "hi momma".  Love this kid.  Love love him.  He is such a lil cheerleader for his team telling them "good job" and "you can do it"  It is a sweet thing to watch.  I hope he is always a little leader in that way!

On another note...my other baby has been so sick. We have been doing breathing treatments daily every 4 hours, and battling teething and an ear infection.  He turns 8 months old tomorrow!
