I am an AUNT!!

My sister had her sweet baby boy July 15th.  She had a hard labor and delivery but she did so good.  After coming in early to be induced and then laboring for hours they decided that a c section was best since she wasnt dilating like she should. Come to find out Knox was coming out crooked.  Welcome Knox Harris...

He looks like my sister but he looks like Kyle too.  My sister had those squinty eyes when she was a baby too.  I think he is just precious.
We actually went up the day she was induced and surprised her.  She didnt think we were coming but I wanted to be there for her.  The boys were so good and we had a nice trip.  While we were waiting in the hospital Doug, Chance and my brother went around town doing silly things.  The pictures honestly dont need any description...
Chance and Dale went in different department stores and tried on clothes.  Chance wanted Doug to buy him this suit he thought he was G-Q

Then my (almost 27 years old) brother got out and acted like he was going to push over this statue horse.  He is lucky the police werent called...

Chance loves his uncle Dale...I am sure you can see why.
 Daddy and Chance making faces
 He is so cute...
I think this is a good look for you Dale, maybe Kristi will let you wear this at yall's wedding, ha!
 Hugging a manikin.
Congratulations Robin and Kyle on your little boy!  We are all so happy for you!  Glad our boys will get to grow up together.

Now a few pictures of Brooks Harris, he is growing everyday.  I took him to his 2 week appt and he weighs 7 lbs 13 oz and said he looks perfect.  Just what this momma likes to hear :)  (and pictures of my growing 3 year old, Chance)

 "Touchdown"

This picture was the first day I was alone all day with both boys.  We went to the grocery store, swimming (Brooks didnt swim we sat under a fan in the shade) and back home for naps.  Both boys were amazing and I managed to get them both asleep, then when Daddy got home I went and got a much needed pedicure! :)
This picture cracks me up.  You would have thought it was really loud in the house at this time but it was super quiet but it makes me laugh because Chance is usually making lots of noise and its like Brooks is saying "please be quiet"

Happy Saturday...

Brotherly Love

Chance at first had his mixed emotions about Brooks but he really does love him.  He calls him "Brooks-ie" or he says "hi there sweetie pie"  He loves to touch his cheeks especially when he is sleeping! ha.
Brooks looks alot like Chance did when he was a baby except Brooks has my complexion, fair, and Chance has Doug's.  Here is a comparison of their 3D sonogram.  Brooks is on the top and Chance is on the bottom:
Then here is a comparison after born:
These pictures are Chance when he was a baby
Here is the picture of Brooks that I think he looks just like Chance:
Just with blonde hair...

Now for a few pictures lately around our house.

I love my two boys to the moon and back!

Brooks Nursery & More

Pinterest inspired ABC wall that Chance helped me paint.  :)

I have a few more things to add.  I have been looking for another lamp (tall) to go in the corner and then I have ordered canvas prints to put above the couch and they havent arrived yet.
I was going through my phone and found a bunch of pics that I wanted to blog about.  Some are before Brooks arrived and some are at the hospital the day he was born and the day we are going home.
Last night out to eat before Brooks arrived.  Chance was quite the toot at dinner too.

This is his "you want some of this" face.  He asks us this all the time thanks to his uncle Dale. *check out my dads face...he looks scared. haha
After going to Sea World we found this blowup whale at walmart that Chance just had to have.  I honestly thought it was a small blowup it was only $7 then when we put air in it...oh.my.word.  It takes up the whole pool.
I had to take a pic of this.  Chance looking at his bible in church while leaning on his Nana.  So sweet.
While I was in labor everyone had bets going on when I would deliver and how much Brooks would weigh and they were competing with other people waiting out in the waiting room on another lady having her baby.  They made these signs for me.

So excited we are going home!!

 Having some tummy time.
I took this picture this morning...such a sweet face.
