Today my little boy is 2 years old. Time sure has flown by and I wish I could bottle up every moment with him. I cannot believe it has been 2 years since I was in the hospital anticipating his arrival. Oh how he has blessed our life in a special, amazing way. I love you so much Chance.
Chance you are such a sweet, loving little boy. Yet you have a fearless side to you too. You love to hug and kiss me and you will say "ohhhhh mommmma" It melts my heart everytime. I hope and pray that when you get older we are just as close. A lot of people say "dont you just wish they didnt say momma so much" (or something along those line) and I always say "nope he can say Momma for the rest of his life over and over and I would never get tired of it"
side note: If you havent seen the movie 5th Quarter you need to rent it. Changes your life and the way you think.
Chance you are saying some of the funniest things:
"I wanna drive tracTEE"
"Oh no, Doooeee (Zoe the dog) poo pooed"
"I wanna Foo Snack" (fruit snack)
"Boddie" (my sister Robin)
and of course he is saying "NO"
"Come on daddy"
I am sure I am forgetting one but want to start updatting more of the things you say so we can remember.
We go to the dr. on Friday for your 2 year check to see how much you weigh and how tall you have gotten.
You can hit and throw a baseball like a pro. Literally. You really can. Your Daddy works on your baseball fundamentals daily. ha! You may throw the baseball at him one of these days. :)
You can lift your leg and throw like a pitcher and can squat and jump up and throw the ball like a catcher. Go figure. Your dad isnt a serious baseball coach or anything. ha! You still love your tractors, trucks and lawn mowers. You love to do puzzles and read books too. We have really started drawing a lot too. Your aunt Robin and uncle Kyle got you a magna doodle for Christmas. :)
You can tell me what a circle, square, triangle, star and moon are. (That's the math teacher in your momma coming out) We have really been working on your colors and numbers and ABC's too. You are soooo smart and you impress me with what all your learn each day. My prediction is you will be a doctor or engineer maybe. :)
Chance you and Brae are the best of friends. Let's hope your daddy's stay on the same coaching staff for years to come so yall can grow up together. :)
At your birthday we had a tractor pinata it was filled with goodies.
You and Brae would grab a treat and run to the other side of the tennis court and try and it really fast in fear we were going to take it from you! ha. Too cute.
You were still taking a bottle at night only (because you refused to drink milk out of a cup) but on December the 26th I threw away the bottles and you now drink milk in your juice cups. Huge accomplishment!! You remind me every morning whe we walk in the kitchen "vitamin". You take your vitamin so well!! :)

Chance you are a very fast learner. We can show you something one time and you pick on it so quickly. (If we could just master this sleeping through the night). As I was rocking you last night (laid you down at 9 and you were up at 11) I held you thinking one day you will not let me rock you so I am cherishing these moments. :) *after I laid you back down you did sleep til I woke you up ready to go to Nana's. Speaking of Nana...she adores you and takes such good care of you while Mommy and Daddy work. You love her to pieces.
Chance you are so loved by everyone.
Chance and Granny
Brother in laws. They look like brothers.
We bought Chance a little table for his birthday. He loves it. Now we can draw and do puzzles on it. He also got some new tractors and motorcycles.
To remember how small his hands are and how precious they are so we outlined them tonight.
We love you to the moon and back Chance. Thank you for blessing our lives 2 years ago and the blessings keep on growing. Happy Birthday Bubba!
Love,
Mommy
