Black Friday 2010

We woke up at 2:30 and headed out to shop!  It was MADNESS and I cant say I will ever do this again. 

 However, we did find a few things. HA!  There is a BOB stroller underneath all of these bags so we didnt buy too much.  lol.  We finally called it a day when we literally had no more room to put anything.  Chance was so good.  I was sick most of the Thanksgiving holiday so I sat in the car at some of the stores with Chance and we slept off and on.  We were at Target by 4:00 am, but didnt get out because the line out the door was CRAZY long and it was cold so we went to Kohls.  When we got in Kohls my mom, sister and I all starred at each other like "what are we doing?"  The line to check out wrapped the STORE!!!  We left there too.  I went to Babies R Us and got a few good deals, we went to the mall and then back to Target later on.

 Chance is OBSESSED with going outside.  OBSESSED...he will stand and beat on the window wanting to go outside.  Luckily at our house we have a covered patio and so this is what he does when he is out there...

When Chance is at Nana's he loves to SWING.  He literally will scream when you take him out and try to go inside.  He is Mr. Independent and is definately getting such a strong, super cute personality.  Love you sweet boy!

Wishful Thinking

Today I am thinking about Christmas and what I need to start buying for everyone.  I love Christmas and this year it will be all the more fun since it will be Chance's first Christmas.  Oh how it will be so much fun watching him open gifts and getting excited about playing with new toys.  I have already been looking online for good deals on toys and such.  My mom, sis and I (and Chance) are going to step out and go shopping on BLACK FRIDAY!!  We are pretty excited about it.  I sure hope Chance does well with it.  He just doesnt know what is in store for him. ha!  I am super excited because Babies R Us is having a great deal on formula, diapers and WIPES!  My sister is wanting to be one of the first customers at Victoria Secret.  :)  Doug and I need a new deep freezer for the deer meat I HOPE he will be bringing home.  :)  And of course we cant for get T A R G E T!!! One of our favorites.  My mom texted me last night and said "we are going to go to Target at 4:00AM on Black Friday"  um...ok!  haha  Sounds fun.
So onto wishful thinking...I am wishing for two things...

I really want an IPHONE.  My camera on my phone now takes horrible pictures (maybe because Chance likes to chew on it??)  haha.  I am due for a new upgrade after Christmas.

If you know me well...you know I hate to clean house...

 

I will clean...but it's not my thing.  I like my house to be clean and tidy.  We have ALL TILE floors and hardwood floors.  So it is hard to sweep and then mop all of it with a 10 month old.  

I told my family that I needed to invent a washer/dryer that not only washed and dryed your clothes, but it would hang them up on a hanger or fold them and place them back in the basket for me to put them in their place.  Does anyone else hate laundry?  I dont mind doing it...its putting it away that's the problem.  (enough of that :))

This weekend we are home all weekend!!  yeah!!!

10 Months

Chance is 10 months old today.  He is officially walking.  Has been for a few days now.  All he wants to do is walk.  There are times when he loses his balance and falls but for the most part he is getting pretty good at it. 

Chance you are such a sweet baby.  You are starting to love on us.  Your smile is so sweet.  You truly are a happy baby.
You are so busy.  Here there and everywhere.  You are soooo afraid you are going to miss something.
You still fight sleeping.  You will let me know when you are wanting a nap or ready for bed.  You will crawl over to the recliner and want in my lap and you will take your bottle, we pray and then you go to sleep.  But if I try to get you to go to sleep before you are ready...boy is it a fight.  (more now because you have learned to walk and dont want to stop playing)
You havent been sleeping at night very good either because you are cutting one of your molars. (needless to say we are all exhausted)  Your lil teeth have you in sooo much pain.  I give you teething tablets and tylonel to help you.  You now have 4 teeth on the top and 4 front teeth on the bottom and one molar coming in on the bottom. 
You are wearing 12 month pants and some 12 month tops but you can still wear 9 month tops too.  Just depends on where they are from.  Children's Place runs really big on you and Old Navy runs REALLY SMALL.  Target is about right on as far as the size goes.
Your hair is growing so much too.  Probably going to have to get you a hair cut sooner than later.  However, I love it and dont want to cut it mainly because I am afraid you already have residing hair lines, yikes!  Your hair is also very thick! 
You arent a fan of your high chair or your car seat.  We have to distract you with something very interesting to get you in your car seat.  For example, my keys, a water bottle, a magazine...sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt.  As far as your high chair goes...you eat pretty good throughout the day and drink your bottles but when it comes to dinner you would rather be down playing.
You are taking to liking more and more people food.  You dont eat much of it but you have eaten everything I have given you.  You love cinnamon rolls (we have those on Saturday morning).  It's our lil treat together. :)  You like chicken, cheese and you love you some YOGURT!  :)  Your Nana said she was going to share some with you the other day and you ended up eating the whole thing. haha.
You are talking more and more.  You say Da da, ba ba and na na na na...you have also said a couple of times when you are really tired...MA MA!! :)  Warms my heart...
You are ticklish.  It is so funny.  Your laugh is so sweet.
You mock us if we say ahhhhhhhhh.....you say ahhhh.....and open your mouth really big.  It is too funny.  Basically you are our entertainment.  Here is a bunch of pics of what you are up to and INTO these days...

We were at a friends house this weekend and you found Lyla Grace's baby stroller and that is what you played with for about 45 min.

You like to climb under this GLASS table...you bump your head many times...but continue to do it.

Randomness

Thank goodness today is FRIDAY!!  It's been a long week with no football game tonight to look forward too. I am really tired today cause Lil Man was up every two hours last night.  It was rough.  I think he is teething and his tummy hurt too.  He had his booster shot this week and my wonderful mom and sister took him because I could not get off of work.  I felt so bad not going with him but he didnt even cry.  He is such a big boy.  Here is a pic of mom and him in the waiting room. 

Mom said that Chance crawled straight to this truck in the play area, picked it up,  lifted it up over his head and threw it.  Yep...he is ALL BOY.  He is walking so much these days too.  Maybe that is another reason why he isnt sleeping.  He wants to be up playing and walking.  :/

He is so sweet.  I say he is precious all the time.  Doug asked me the other day "you think you could find a different word to use to describe Chance, he is a boy"  I said well when he is 12 I will call him handsome but for now he is soooo precious!! :)

Trick Or Treat - 1st Halloween

On Sunday we made it a Orange and Black kind of day.  I took Chance outside and got some cute pics of him on the swing in his Halloween "I'm Batty for Mommy" onesie.  Isnt he precious!
