Spring Break 2012

Today we went to the San Antonio Zoo.  Two words for the visit -  Never. Again.
Even though Chance enjoyed himself and was such a good little boy we will never go again.  First off, it was sooooo overly crowded.  Walked a mile to the zoo after we finally found a parking spot that I knew we would be towed (luckily we werent), stood in a very long line to just get tickets, and it was butt to butt, cheek to cheek in the zoo.  Stroller to stroller...most of the animals were under the shade out of sight.  However, we found a way to make it fun for Chance.  We saw many interesting people and heard many disturbing conversations with parents and their children...it was an all around eye opener kind of day.  I am so thankful for my family and what we have together.  (This is a post in itself about what I witnessed and saw today at this zoo.  It was called a ZOO for many reasons to put it mildly.)

After the zoo we went on a train ride (well Doug and Chance did as I guarded our stroller).  Chance had a blast.  We headed to Chuy's for a big ole glass of tea and dinner and now home for baths and rest.

Now to the pictures...
The only time he rode in the stroller! ha!
This kid is obsessed with his hats now...we are going to get some new ones tomorrow. :)

 Pointing at the elephants!

We thought it was so funny...he kept rubbing Doug's head.  ha!
 Alligator!!

Check out his face...he was not wanting to take a picture with me.

Chance was screaming really loud "cheeseeeeeee" for the guy taking the picture to hurry up.  This is the look we got!
All smiles here.

We are loving our Spring Break!!  Tomorrow is a mommy/son day!
